LIFE AFTER LIFE

Today's write up is quite short but I'm hoping it would be very instructive as intended.

Upon reading this topic once again, one could say, after life should be death, how come life comes after life? This is what we get to enjoy being sons and daughters of GOD. Just like our Lord JESUS CHRIST(Luke23:46) and other saints after Him e.g. Stephen(Acts. 7:59), we don't truly die loosing our lives but we give it up as if to take it back again...HALLELUYAH.

If all our hope were ended in this world then we truly are amongst all men most miserable (1Cor. 15:19) but praise be to GOD who has something far better planned in store for us, that for those who would believe in Him would not end their journeys here if and when their physical bodies stop living, but would automatically transcend into another more glorious life thereafter.

Many on hearing this would want to argue saying "we shall all die", though many at times this much is true, but we sure also do have testimonies that say it could be avoided, the cases of Enoch (Gen. 5:24, Heb. 11:5) and Elijah (2Kings. 2:11) being very quick examples. Anyways, dying in this physical body shouldn't be the end of our journey as this is not the Lord's plan for us as Sons of GOD, for there is a life which we have been called to live hereafter and it entails reigning eternally with the Father as opposed to being tormented eternally in hell by the devil and his angels.

Scriptures gives us examples of this, we read of Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31) who died and got to enjoy eternal life in the bosom of Father Abraham as opposed to the rich man who died and ended his journey in eternal demnation.

Luke  20:37-38 declares "Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him."

Our GOD lives and reigns forever and so by believing in His son JESUS CHRIST, we too enjoy life after life, we have eternal life (John. 17:3). Eternal in the sense that it doesn't run out, there is no case of loosing the life that the FATHER gives. The lives we once had was put to death as we were all born in the likeness of Adam who sinned in the garden of Eden, we needed life and the type we needed was one that had no boundaries, one available only in JESUS (Heb. 9:12).

I trust it would be good to reiterate that life after life is a right reserved exclusively for sons of GOD (John. 17:3) - those who have accepted the lordship of the Lord JESUS over and upon their lives whilst they lived in this physical body . Being absent of this divine fold means dying after death. Suffering an eternity of torment by the devil, wailing, gnashing of teeth in hell as opposed to joyfully giving praise to GOD throughout all eternity. I'd choose life always and I pray you do same urgently too.
