AT THY WORD
"And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net." - Luke. 5:5
Luke records of a time not too long ago after the temptation of JESUS when He went to the temple and taught the people out of the scriptures and healed everyone that had need of a healing all until daybreak before He was then able to depart into a solitary place to refresh, but still the people thronged around Him and He kept on teaching and healing them.
Perhaps for the sake of reaching a wider audience, He decided to continue the teachings from a boat while the people sat at the bank of the water. So He saw two empty boats, which were empty because their owners, fishermen Peter and co were greatly frustrated at their unsuccessful efforts all through the night and they them decided to wash their nets and go home. JESUS called unto them, they answered and He taught the people from their boats.
Seeing that this GOD is always a great rewarded of those who diligentlyseek and honour Him, He asked Peter to push out for a catch. A statement which Peter quickly replied with his disappointment all through the night that they professional fishermen had toiled all through the night but caught nothing. A good turnaround for Peter though was that he quickly said though we didn't catch anything throughout the night but at Thy word, I would let down my net. This he did and he caught so great a school of fish that even the net which he used began to break and he needed to hire the help of associates to gather the bounty. HALLELUYAH
"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." - Heb. 4:12.
The word of GOD is an undeniable power. By the word of GOD, entire creation came into being (John. 1:1-3). He even gives honour to His word even more than His name. (Psalm. 138:2). This simply means that He would always do what He says He would do, nothing really is able to stop Him from manifesting that which He has declared to do. Once He has said it, He promptly brings it to pass.
"For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth." - 1 Kings 17:14
Famine struck the land after Elijah had declared that there would not be rain for a period of three and a half years, so for the continued existence of the prophet of GOD, GOD mandated him to go to the city of Zarephath, where He had already instructed a widow to feed Elijah. Elijah met with the woman and asked her to bring him some food, she was quick to reply that the food she had left was just sufficient to provide her and her son their last meal before they fell into their deaths as a result of the difficulty to feed that the famine brought.
So Elijah declared the word of the Lord to her saying that the barrel of meal and cruse of oil would not cease and so it was and this woman and her son ate and stayed alive for many more years as opposed to refusing to heed the word of the Lord and eating her last meal with her son and dying. The word of GOD brings life whenever it is honoured, in it's face, death is extinguished and the glory of GOD is established.
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” - Matthew 4:4
The word of GOD remains sufficient for sustenance through the journey of life. If one is to succeed in this Christian race, the word of GOD should remain inseparable from such life. It is the lamp to the feet and the Light to the path of the believer (Psalm. 119:105). The lamp showing where exactly to step into and the light illuminating and directing the general path through which the believer is supposed to journey through. So let us like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation. (1 Peter 2:2)
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." - John 1:14.
The word of GOD is GOD himself, at His word, His entire power is activated and His entire being is set into motion, whatever it is that He declares at such a time and season has no option but to be executed well in the time frame that He has declared it. When He says to you, "blessed shall you be" (Deut. 28:1-14), He really isn't making a suggestion, but He is committing Himself to ensure that you are blessed in all things.
So what exactly has the Lord JESUS declared concerning you and how really are you taking His words? Do you like Peter obey His word and cast your net one more time even though you have been at such attempts for a very long time, or do you prefer to ignore His words and seek help from some external sources? Permit me to quickly say that other ways except the fulfilment of the word of GOD leads to nothing else but disappointment simply because the devil isn't as generous as being able to give something of joy without lacing it with sorrow but our GOD alone is able to bless without the addition of sorrow. (Prov. 10:22)
In conclusion, though Heaven and earth will pass away, the words of the FATHER will never pass away. (Matt. 24:35) They would surely come to existence, wait for it.
GOD BLESS YOU.

Hmm... always stand on God's promises no matter the cost. It will surely come to pass. Thanks sir
